We are passionate about providing only the best. Most cereals, produce, dairy products and breads are organic and sourced locally and much comes from producers approved and accredited to Levels' Best an organisation promoting the best that’s available from farmers and growers on the Somerset Levels. Eggs are provided by our own Elm Tree chickens which are kept free range and organically reared.

Breakfast is served at your own separate table in the guest dining room which like most rooms at Elm Tree Cottage has wonderful views to enjoy.

Start with a selection of quality cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and juice followed by our famous cooked breakfast with all the choices you’d expect from a traditional English breakfast, finishing with homemade toasted bread and preserves.

Lighter alternatives include our ever popular Loch Fynne smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or pan fried mushrooms and grilled tomatoes on homemade toast.

Vegetarians are well catered for by Bev, being a vegetarian herself.

Popular from the weekend specials are American style sour cream pancakes with banana and maple syrup.

We also cater for special diets with ease.
